Congrats to the Hooks on 2 close hard-fought wins. We just needed a couple more key hits. Time to fill a couple spots and come back for another tournament run next year.

Spanel throws 7 innings, gives up 2 runs. Hooks gather all but 1 run in bottom of the seventh for 12-2 win. Hats off to a very tough Deerfield team. Glad to get through this series as final game much closer than score reflected

We had a fun season - not the outcome we wanted but it was fun. Made a lot of errors in our final game. Chris Adams finished the season on a strong note going 3-4. Good luck to the remaining teams. We'll see everyone in 2018!!!

Great series with a good hitting Colt 45's squad. Win: Kroell & Gater with the 3-inning Save (2 RBI, SB). Multi-hit mornings for Meza (2R), Kroell (2 RBI) & Lahmers (R, SB). 2R: Miosi, Aultman, Miller. Great baserunning by the Meridians men.

Highlights - Hustle: 
Hustle lose 3-0 on a very well pitched game by Scott Brothers, we never had anyone past second base and only on second three times. The real difference was that the bulls got hits when they had runners in scoring position and we did not.
Bulls: 
Bulls get early lead on Clim's 2-run single in the 2nd and Brothers does the rest - CG,5Ks, no runners past 2nd. Defense was sharp - turning 4 double plays. Clim 3-3,2RBI; Buschor 2-3,2R, Hamberg 2-3,RBI; Duncan 2-4. No comment about our base running.

Not pretty but we get the victory. Clark goes 5 IP, 6K’s, and gets the win. Also leads offense with 3-3, 1RBI. Kendall and Williams finish it off with 4IP, 1ER. Garcia and Fletch execute flawless squeeze in the 8th. Fletch 2-3, 1RBI, 1R. Freed, 2R, 3SB.

Reds:

shakin the winter rust off. Made some nice defensive plays. Back and forth game against solid Braves club-just ran out of time. T. Brege 2-5, 2rbi and R. Campbell 2-4
Dayton Braves: 
New look and new league for the Braves! Played a tough Rangers Squad. Ran out of time but had plenty of chances. LOB 14 out hit the Rangers 14-9 and had winning run on 3rd with no outs and couldn't make it happen. Looking forward to the Dodgers next week
